KEAM 2026 exams start on April 17, 2026 , announced by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala. The engineering CBT is scheduled from April 17 to 22 and the pharmacy CBT from April 18 to 20 .

KEAM 2026 exam format and question paper

The tests will be in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode at designated centres. The engineering paper contains 150 MCQs to be attempted in 3 hours . The pharmacy paper has 75 MCQs with a 1.5-hour duration.

KEAM 2026 exam centres and reporting

Tests will be held across Kerala and at centres in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai and UAE . Your admit card (hall ticket) lists the exact exam centre and reporting time.

Arrive at the centre at the reporting time printed on your admit card. A mock test will be conducted before the actual CBT to familiarise you with the system.

KEAM 2026 exam day guidelines

Carry the printed admit card and one original photo ID — Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving Licence, PAN or Passport are accepted. Follow invigilator instructions at all times.

Electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches and other gadgets are banned inside the exam hall. Once you report, you will not be allowed to leave before the end of the examination.

Parents are not permitted inside the building where the online exam is being held. Bring your own pens and pencils and do not share them with others.

Mock test and last-minute checks

The mock test activated on April 10 is intended to familiarise candidates with the CBT interface. Make sure you know your reporting time, exam centre, and have the required ID and admit card printed and ready.
