IIM Mumbai MBA result 2026 — how to check
Log in to the IIM Mumbai admission portal at iimmumbai.ac.in using your CAT 2025 registration number and password to view the result and download your scorecard. The portal shows three possible statuses: selected for admission, waitlisted, or not selected.
Selected candidates will also receive admission offers via their registered email. If you get an offer, the email will outline the steps to accept the seat, submit documents and pay the admission fee.

Shortlisted and selection-rate figures published are: General shortlisted — 1,649 (selection rate 27.49% ), EWS shortlisted — 475 (selection rate 17.36% ), NC-OBC shortlisted — 1,012 (selection rate 26.63% ), SC shortlisted — 642 (selection rate 26.23% ).
IIM Mumbai is the last among the IIMs to announce final PI results this season.
What selected candidates must do now
If you are offered admission, accept the offer within the deadline mentioned in your offer email and the portal. Acceptance requires uploading required documents and paying the admission fee. Final-year students must submit their degree certificates by June 30, 2026 . The deadline to submit all required documents is December 31, 2026 . Failure to submit documents by these deadlines will lead to automatic cancellation of the admission.
Waitlist movement and timeline
Waitlist movement is expected to begin in June 2026 and will take place over a window of 14–22 days as seats are vacated and offers are accepted. Waitlisted candidates should monitor their registered email and the admission portal closely during this period.
