    The Indian Institute of Management, Sambalpur is admitting students to two undergraduate courses for the 2026 batch: B.S. in Data Science & Artificial Intelligence and B.S. in Management & Public Policy. Both programmes run for 4 years across 8 semesters .

    The Institute says the curriculum follows NEP 2020 guidelines with a strong practical focus — corporate and social internships, industry collaborations, and hands-on modules. Students will get access to Coursera for skill-based learning and must complete a final-year capstone project and dissertation.

    Programme fees are estimated at approximately Rs. 25,00,000 for the full four-year span. The authority has noted that fees may be revised as per prescribed guidelines.

    Basic academic eligibility requires a minimum of 60% in Class 12 for general category applicants and 55% for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/EWS candidates. Admission to B.S. Data Science & AI will be based on JEE Main 2026 scores; admission to B.S. Management & Public Policy will be based on IPMAT 2026 scores.

    Shortlisted candidates from the entrance test stage will be called for an online personal interview as part of the final selection process. The institute has announced multiple NEP-style exit options: a Certificate after Year 1, a Diploma after Year 2, a Degree after Year 3, and an Honours Degree after Year 4.

    Applications for the 2026 batch are currently open on the institute’s official admissions portal; the authority has not specified an application deadline in its announcement. Prospective applicants should ensure they meet the required entrance test scores and Class 12 marks before applying.
