TG ICET 2026: exam schedule and format

The test is a computer-based test (CBT) lasting 150 minutes (2.5 hours) . Each paper carries 200 multiple-choice questions split into three sections: Analytical Ability ( 75 questions ), Mathematical Ability ( 75 questions ) and Communication Ability ( 50 questions ).

Shift timings are: Forenoon (FN) 10:00-12:30 and Afternoon (AN) 14:30-17:00 . FN candidates must report by 09:30 , AN candidates by 14:00 to allow time for security checks and login procedures. Candidates will not be allowed entry after the exam begins and cannot leave before the session ends.

TG ICET 2026: candidate instructions and rules

You must carry a printed TS ICET hall ticket (admit card) and a valid government ID such as Aadhaar or PAN . Only a transparent water bottle is permitted inside the exam room. Electronic items including mobile phones, smartwatches, earphones and any scanning devices are banned.

Stationery items such as pens, pencils, erasers, calculators, and personal belongings like bags, wallets, belts, caps or goggles are not allowed. Follow the centre staff instructions for document verification and biometric or identity checks if required.

There is no negative marking ; each correct answer awards 1 mark . The exam’s strict entry and exit rules mean late arrivals or early departures will not be accommodated.

    What this means for candidates

Confirm your shift and reporting time printed on your hall ticket ahead of travel. Reach the centre early for security and identity verification to avoid missing the login window. Keep banned items at home to prevent denial of entry.

Related note: CEETA PG 2026 answer key and result information is being released by respective authorities, with a result date indicated as May 23, 2026 for that exam cycle.
