    How to complete TANCET 2026 registration

    Apply online only at tancet.annauniv.edu . You need a valid email and mobile number to register. Keep your Class 10, Class 12 and qualifying degree details ready for entry.

    Pay the application fee during submission. The fee is INR 1000 for Unreserved (UR) and INR 500 for SC, SCA, ST candidates. To claim the concession, upload your community certificate in PDF format.

    TANCET 2026 application requirements and upload specs

    You must upload a passport-style photo and a scanned signature in JPG format. Photo: 300 x 200 px , 35KB–50KB . Signature: 70 x 200 px , 10KB–15KB . Provide your qualifying degree certificate details to confirm eligibility.

    Eligibility requires a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate for general category and 45% for reserved categories. Ensure all fields are correct; incomplete forms may not get an admit card.

    TANCET 2026 exam pattern and marking

    Both MBA and MCA papers have 100 multiple-choice questions each and last 2 hours . Each correct answer gives 1 mark . There is negative marking: 1/4 mark deducted for every wrong answer. The MBA paper has five sections of 20 questions each; the MCA paper has four sections of 25 questions each.

    Admit card and day-of-exam notes

    Admit cards are expected in the last week of April 2026 . If you miss the registration and fee payment by the deadline, you will not receive a hall ticket. You can choose up to one exam city preference; Anna University may allot the final centre within or near the chosen city.
