Admit cards will be downloadable from neet.nta.nic.in on the release date. The agency confirmed the schedule in an official X post that also noted the city intimation slips are already available.

NEET UG 2026: Exam pattern, timing and marking scheme
The exam will be held on May 3, 2026 (Sunday) from 2 PM to 5 PM . Total duration is 180 minutes . The paper has three sections: Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Marking rules are standard: +4 for a correct answer, -1 for an incorrect answer, and 0 for an unanswered question. These apply to all 180 compulsory MCQs.
Discrepancy rules
NTA has outlined how marks will be awarded if a question is found flawed:
- If more than one option is correct, candidates who marked any correct option get +4 marks.
- If all options are correct, all candidates who attempted the question receive +4 .
- If a question is incorrect, has no correct option, or is dropped, +4 marks are awarded to all candidates who took the exam, irrespective of whether they attempted that question.
