NEET UG Exam 2026: What you can carry

    • Only transparent water bottles are allowed inside the examination hall. Carry a clear bottle to avoid delays at security.

If you must wear full sleeves or woollens, they are allowed only if you report early for additional frisking. The advisory asks candidates to arrive at the centre at least one hour before the gates close to complete these checks.

Recommended footwear is slippers or low-heeled shoes . High heels are explicitly not permitted. Follow footwear guidance to avoid being turned away or delayed at entry.

The advisory focuses on smooth entry and minimal disruption during examinations. Candidates should factor extra time for clothing and religious-article checks when planning travel to the centre.

    • Pack only a transparent water bottle and essential permitted items.
    • If you wear religious items or full-sleeved/warm clothing, reach the centre early for frisking.
    • Choose slippers or low-heeled shoes; avoid high heels.
    • Plan to arrive at the centre at least one hour before gate closure to complete security formalities.
