Well, changing your branch at IIT Delhi can be quite competitive. Generally, you'll need a CGPA of around 8.0 to be in a good position. However, for SC/ST students, the requirement is a bit lower, around 7.0. Each department usually allows about 15% of students to switch. If there's a tie in CGPA, they'll look at your JEE rank, giving preference to the one with the better rank.

Some departments might also have extra requirements, like needing a minimum grade (say, a B-) in a specific course related to that department. So, keep an eye on those too!
