Who can apply for the GRT Research Fellowship 2025?

The fellowship is open to university students across India. There are two levels:

Local Fellows: You need to be a Maharashtra-based student, fluent in Marathi, and ready to do on-the-ground data collection and fieldwork.
National Fellows: This is for students from all over India who have strong secondary research skills, technical expertise, and good academic writing skills in English.

Undergraduate and postgraduate students from recognized universities are welcome to apply. Students from all disciplines (like environmental sciences, humanities, social sciences, public policy, engineering, etc.) can apply, but not if you're in your first year of undergraduate studies.
