The Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR) Internship Scheme 2024 presents an enriching opportunity for students at various academic levels—undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and postdoctoral—along with research scholars. This initiative by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj (MoPR) aims to provide interns with invaluable practical experience. Interns will be integrated into program divisions within MoPR, contributing to the Rashtriya Gram Swaraj Abhiyan (RGSA). Their work will involve employing evidence-based strategies to support diverse thematic interventions under the RGSA scheme. Successful candidates will be awarded a monthly stipend of ₹7,000, in addition to receiving a certificate upon completion of the internship.
Eligibility
To qualify for the MoPR Internship Scheme 2024, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be actively enrolled in a graduation, postgraduation, research, doctoral (Ph.D.), or postdoctoral program at a recognized university or institution, either in India or abroad.

Benefits
Interns selected for the MoPR Internship Scheme 2024 will receive a monthly stipend of ₹7,000 and a certificate of completion. Furthermore, they will be provided with a dedicated workspace, access to the internet, library privileges, and other essential resources to facilitate their work throughout the internship.

How to Apply
To apply for the MoPR Internship Scheme 2024, follow these steps:

Step 3: Navigate to 'Register Yourself' on the left-hand side of the dashboard and click on it.
Step 4: After successful registration, click on 'Apply for Service' and log in using your credentials. Fill in the necessary details and click 'Submit'.
Step 5: Click on 'View Services' and then click on 'Apply'.
Step 6: Complete the application form, upload the required documents, and submit.

The MoPR Internship Program is available year-round based on departmental needs. Preferred application windows are from mid-October to the first week of December and mid-June to the third week of August.
Terms & Conditions
The terms and conditions for the MoPR Internship Scheme 2024 are as follows:
- The internship must last a minimum of four (4) weeks and cannot exceed six (6) months.
- Interns must complete the full internship period to receive a certificate of completion.
- Students may apply only once per calendar year; applications are valid for the year submitted.
- Interns must clearly state their area of interest in the application form.
- Upon selection, interns must provide a letter from their supervisor, Head of Department, or Principal verifying their student status and a No Objection Certificate (NOC) allowing participation in the internship for the specified period.
- Completion certificates are issued only upon successful completion of the internship. Interns not completing the required period will not receive experience certificates.
- MoPR will cover necessary travel expenses for field visits or research.
- MoPR reserves the right to review interns' work and may publish selected work on the official website.
- The MoPR Secretary has the authority to modify any rule or condition of the internship program.
