CBSE 12th Result 2026: tentative date and where to check
The board has not given a final public time, but the result window is set around May 12, 2026 as a tentative date. CBSE informed schools before any public notice is issued, and an official notice will appear on result day. For reference, CBSE released the Class 12 result last year on May 13, 2025 at 11:00 am .
Check results on the official portals: cbse.gov.in , results.cbse.nic.in and the DigiLocker platform. When results go live, the same three platforms are where you can view and download your provisional marksheet.
CBSE 12th Result 2026: marksheets, DigiLocker and migration certificates
DigiLocker will host downloadable marksheets and passing certificates once the board uploads them. The digital marksheet from DigiLocker is accepted by colleges for admission, so you can use it immediately for applications and counselling.
Printed marksheets and passing certificates will be dispatched to schools after declaration. You will need to collect those documents from your school when they arrive. Migration certificates are not auto-issued; students who require one must request it from CBSE through their school or the board’s prescribed process.
What this means for students now
With evaluation complete and the board finalising results, check DigiLocker first for a downloadable marksheet to speed up college admissions. If you need a migration certificate, inform your school or the board proactively so the request is processed once results are out.
Keep your roll number, school code and other credentials ready to avoid login delays on result day. If you cannot access DigiLocker or the result portals, contact your school for the printed marksheet once it is available.
CBSE will release an official notice on the day the results are declared. Students should rely on the board’s websites for confirmation and avoid unofficial updates.
