CBSE Curriculum 2026-27: Secondary Curriculum Part 1 release for Classes 9-10
CBSE will release the Secondary Curriculum Part 1 for classes 9 and 10 on April 2, 2026 at 3 PM IST . The new CBSE Curriculum 2026-27 applies to the academic year 2026-27 and the board says the scheme of studies will be followed up to 2031 .
CBSE Curriculum 2026-27: launch details
The board has scheduled the launch for April 2, 2026 at 3 PM IST on its official media channel. Students who will be in classes 9 and 10 in 2026-27 should watch the CBSE official channel to view or download the scheme of studies as soon as it is published.
CBSE has already released the Secondary Curriculum Part 2 for classes 11 and 12. That document — available on cbseacademic.nic.in — lists Group-L languages, Group-A academic electives and subjects of internal assessment.

- Class 9-10 (Part 1): will be published on the CBSE official media channel at launch time.

Who should check the new CBSE Curriculum 2026-27
If you will be in class 9 or 10 in 2026-27, check the Part 1 release on April 2. If you will be in class 11 or 12 next year, Part 2 is already on the board website. The scheme applies to CBSE-affiliated schools following the board’s scheme of studies.
What Part 2 already covers
The published Part 2 document sets out Group-L languages, Group-A academic electives and lists subjects that require internal assessment.
