The offline, pen-and-paper BCECE exam will be held across Bihar on May 30 and May 31, 2026 . Admit cards will be available from May 22, 2026 on the official BCECEB website (bceceboard.bihar.gov.in). Carry a valid photo ID and your printed admit card to the exam centre.

BCECE 2026 registration — exam pattern and marking
The exam is a state-level test for admission to professional undergraduate courses in Bihar. It uses an offline MCQ format with 300 questions — 100 questions per subject . Each subject has 90 minutes and the total maximum marks are 1,200 .
Marking scheme: +4 for each correct answer and -1 for a wrong answer. The syllabus is based on NCERT Class 11 and 12 textbooks and covers Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Agriculture depending on your chosen stream.

Eligibility and key requirements
You must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry plus Mathematics or Biology or Agriculture. Candidates should be permanent residents of Bihar or have a parent domiciled in Bihar.
Age rules: minimum 16 years for Pharmacy by December 31, 2026 ; minimum 17 years for Medicine and Agriculture at the time of admission. Bring a valid photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, passport) and your admit card to the test centre. Report at least 30 minutes before the start time.
