COMEDK UGET 2026 provisional answer key revised to May 16; objections open May 16-18, final key May 23

    The COMEDK UGET 2026 provisional answer key has been revised and will be released on May 16, 2026 at 11:00 AM . The exam was held on May 9, 2026 , and the authority has moved the provisional key from the original May 13 date to give more time for verification.

    Candidates must log in to the official portal at comedk.org using their application number and password to download the provisional key and their response sheet. The objection window opens on May 16 and closes on May 18, 2026 . The final answer key is scheduled for May 23, 2026 , and results will be declared on May 29, 2026 at 4:00 PM .

    Objections, fees and evidence required

    You can file objections online through your candidate login during the May 16–18 window. Each objection carries a fee of INR 500 payable via the portal; refunds will be issued only if the objection is upheld by the COMEDK academic committee. Provide clear reasoning and supporting evidence such as textbook citations when you submit an objection.

    What the answer key and results mean for admissions

    The COMEDK UGET 2026 result will release rank cards and score cards through the candidate portal; hard copies will not be mailed. Scores will be used for the centralised admission process (CAP) across about 150 member institutions , covering roughly 20,000 engineering seats .

    Exam pattern and key numbers to note

    The UGET was a computer-based test (CBT) in English only, with 180 multiple-choice questions 60 questions per subject (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics). Each correct answer awards 1 mark , there is no negative marking , and the total duration was 3 hours (180 minutes) . The syllabus weightage is approximately 33% Class 11 and 67% Class 12 topics.

    Download and save your provisional key and response sheet as soon as they appear. If you plan to challenge answers, prepare clear references and be ready to pay INR 500 per objection.
