CUET UG 2026 exam dates and key updates
CUET UG 2026 is scheduled to be held between 11 May and 31 May 2026 , the NTA has said. The exam will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode for admission to undergraduate programmes.

The registration window lasted 33 days and the correction window ran for 3 days . The overall exam window spans 21 days and the date sheet will cover 37 subjects .
CUET UG 2026: exam mode, subjects and what to expect
The test will be held in CBT mode. NTA has indicated the date sheet will list subject-wise schedules and slot timings once it is released in April 2026 . If a full schedule is not published, your city intimation slip and admit card will carry your specific date and time.
Registered candidates must carry the admit card to the centre. The admit cards are expected to be issued 3–4 days before each candidate's exam date, as per the authority's timelines.
How to check your date, city and admit card
Watch for the NTA date sheet in April to view subject-wise dates. If the date sheet is not released, download your city intimation slip and admit card when they are issued; these will show your exam date and slot.
Keep the email and mobile number you used at registration active. Official communications and intimation slips will be sent there.
Missing details and what NTA has not published
NTA's notice does not include the exam pattern, marking scheme, detailed syllabus, application fees, eligibility qualifications or a list of participating universities. Test centre city allocations and reservation details were also not listed in the public update.
