    AIIMS New Delhi started registration for INI CET July 2026 on March 28, 2026 and the exam is scheduled for May 16, 2026 . The INI CET July 2026 marking scheme is simple: +1 for every correct answer and -1/3 for each incorrect response, across a 200-question CBT paper.

    INI CET July 2026 marking scheme: scoring, timing and eligibility

    The exam follows a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format with sectional timers enforced during the test. There are 200 total questions and admission is based on the merit rank in the CBT. You must complete your 12-month internship by July 31, 2026 to be eligible.

    Eligibility highlights:

    • Hold an MBBS or BDS degree recognised by NMC/DCI.
    • Minimum aggregate: 55% for General, 50% for SC/ST.
    • Internship completion deadline: July 31, 2026 .
    • Register basic details on the PAAR portal and generate a new Exam Unique Code (EUC) for this session.

    INI CET July 2026 marking scheme: how to apply on PAAR

    Registration happens on the PAAR (Postgraduate Admission Academic Registration) portal in a multi-stage process. Stage 1 is Basic Registration, Stage 2 is Generation of EUC, and Stage 3 is Final Registration with payment and city choice.

    You must generate a session-specific EUC even if your basic registration was accepted earlier. During final registration you will upload academic details, provide Medical Council registration, select preferred exam state/city and pay the fee.

    INI CET is the single gateway for MD, MS, M.Ch (6 yrs), DM (6 yrs) and MDS at AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER, NIMHANS and SCTIMST. The result on May 26, 2026 will determine merit rank and admission offers.

    After result declaration, counselling and seat allotment follow as per the participating institutes' schedules and reservation rules.
