The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell released the provisional MHT CET 2026 PCB answer key on May 13, 2026 .

Provisional MHT CET 2026 PCB answer key: what’s available

The candidate portal shows the provisional answer key side-by-side with your marked responses and the question paper. This lets you compare answers for Physics, Chemistry and Biology before deciding to object. A grievance tracking facility in the portal provides an objection number and status updates after you submit a challenge.

How to file objections via candidate portal for MHT CET 2026 PCB answer key

Objections must be filed online through the candidate login between May 13 and May 15, 2026 . Each objection requires a payment of INR 1,000 per question , payable through the portal. When you submit an objection, include clear reasoning and supporting evidence (textbook citations or official references) as required by the CET Cell.

Keep a record of the objection number shown in your portal; the tracking facility will show whether the entry is received, under review, or resolved. Objections submitted after the window or through other channels will not be considered.

    Exam pattern, marking and timeline

MHT CET 2026 PCB First Attempt was held in CBT mode across Maharashtra from April 21–26, 2026 , in two shifts. The PCB group had 200 questions total: Physics 50 , Chemistry 50 and Biology 100 . Each question carries 1 mark , the full test duration is 3 hours (180 minutes) , and there is no negative marking .

After the objection window closes on May 15 , the CET Cell will have subject matter experts review challenges during the May 16 – early June 2026 review period. The final answer key is expected in June 2026 , with results to follow after the final key is issued. Typical review of objections takes about 2–3 weeks .

Immediate actions for candidates: log into the candidate portal with your application number and password, check the provisional key and response sheet, file any well-documented objections by May 15 , and note the objection number for tracking. Failure to submit within the window or to pay the fee will forfeit the right to challenge the provisional key.

All official updates, final key and result announcements will be published by the Maharashtra State CET Cell on the candidate portal and its official channels.
