MP College Admission 2026: DHE Madhya Pradesh releases e-Pravesh calendar
The Department of Higher Education (DHE), Madhya Pradesh released the official calendar for MP College Admission 2026 for state colleges through the consolidated e-Pravesh portal. All registrations, choice filling and most verification steps will be handled online at epravesh.highereducation.mp.gov.in.
MP College Admission 2026: Key dates and steps
Undergraduate online registration opens on May 1, 2026 , while postgraduate registration opens on May 2, 2026 . The last date to register for both UG and PG is May 15, 2026 .
Document verification must be completed within specified windows: UG verification runs May 2–May 16, 2026 , and PG verification runs May 4–May 16, 2026 . Choice filling and profile completion are expected to finish by mid-May.
The first merit list for UG seats will be published on May 20, 2026 , and for PG on May 21, 2026 . Fee payment windows follow the merit lists: UG fee submission is May 20–May 26, 2026 , and PG fee submission is May 21–May 26, 2026 .
MP College Admission 2026: Verification, fees and counselling
A second round of allotment and College-Level Counseling (CLC) begin on May 28, 2026 , to fill remaining seats across state colleges. The schedule includes multiple rounds so colleges can maximise seat occupancy.
Students must generate and map an Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) ID as required under NEP 2020 before completing profiles on the portal. ABC ID mapping is mandatory for admission processes that reference the Academic Bank of Credits.
Subject-adjustment walk-in interviews are scheduled earlier, from April 27–May 14, 2026 , for students needing changes in major or minor subject allocations.
All registrations, choice fillings, and document uploads must be done at the official portal: epravesh.highereducation.mp.gov.in. Individual colleges will still apply their own eligibility rules and may list course-specific requirements.
What this means for you: register early, generate and map your ABC ID, complete document verification within the windows, and track the merit list release dates. Missing the fee submission window after allotment can forfeit the seat according to college rules.
The DHE calendar sets a tight timeline to finalise admissions and start the academic year. Check the e-Pravesh portal for any notifications or updates directly from the authority.
