The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the NIFTEE 2026 Stage 2 schedule: PG personal interviews will be held from 06 April 2026 to 11 April 2026 in New Delhi only. UG Stage-2 test dates and centre details will be printed on admit cards to be issued later.

NIFTEE 2026 Stage 2 schedule — PG (Personal Interviews)
Personal interviews for PG programmes (M.Des., M.F.M., M.F.Tech.) will be conducted at a designated venue in New Delhi between 6 and 11 April 2026 . All shortlisted candidates must appear at the venue on the date and time mentioned in their Interview Call Letter. Requests to change date or venue will not be entertained.
Shortlisting for PG Stage-2 follows performance in Stage-1 and NIFT’s approved category-wise seat matrix. The shortlisting ratio used is 1:4 (one seat to four candidates), subject to applicable conditions for PwD candidates.
NIFTEE 2026 Stage 2 schedule — UG (Stage-2 tests)
UG Stage-2 will include several programme-specific tests and interviews. Tests listed by NTA include:
- Situation Test (B.Des.)
- Studio Test + Personal Interview (B.Des. NLEA)
- Artisan Skill Test + Personal Interview (B.Des. Artisans)
- Technical Ability Test (TAT) in paper-based OMR format + Personal Interview (B.F.Tech. NLEA)
Stage-2 UG exams will be held in approximately 20 cities across the country. Exact dates, city, centre, reporting time and other instructions will be provided in the respective admit cards when issued.
Shortlisting and eligibility
Stage-2 shortlisting is based on Stage-1 performance and follows the category-wise seat matrix approved by NIFT. PwD candidates will be considered under applicable conditions. Shortlisted candidates must follow instructions on their Interview Call Letter or admit card.
