    IIIT Hyderabad Admission 2026: Exams, sections and selection

    UGEE is the entry route for the five-year dual-degree (B.Tech + MS by Research). The UGEE exam has two sections: SUPR (Subject Proficiency) and REAP (Research Aptitude). You must appear for both sections.

    PGEE covers M.Tech, MS and Ph.D. admissions. M.Tech selection is based solely on the PGEE exam score. For MS and Ph.D., shortlisted candidates will face a personal interview after the written test.

    LEEE is for lateral entry into the third year and targets students from CSE/ECE branches. The LEEE shortlisting is competitive and includes an online interview on May 23, 2026 .

    Eligibility and fees

    • UGEE: Class 12 (PCM) passers of 2024, 2025 or 2026 are eligible. You must take both SUPR and REAP.
    • PGEE: Requires a B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc/MCA with minimum 60% or equivalent.
    • LEEE: Completion of four semesters of B.E./B.Tech (CSE/ECE) and 80% aggregate (8.0 CGPA) by the end of the fourth semester.
