    NTA issued an advisory on 31 March 2026 for JEE Main Session 2. If you have an Aadhaar photo mismatch, the advisory says you must bring a certificate attested by a Class-I Gazetted Officer (for example, Tehsildar or SDM) as proof.

    Candidates who did not register with Aadhaar or whose Aadhaar photo does not match the application must carry the attested certificate. The NTA advisory lists this as mandatory for entry and biometric verification on exam day.

    Key documents and entry rules
