Twenty student reviews from Hyderabad and Warangal show 15 of 20 called the TG EAMCET 2026 May 10 Shift 1 paper "Tough".

TG EAMCET 2026 May 10 Shift 1 Student Reviews — Overall Verdict

Students reported that Mathematics was the toughest section on 10 May 2026 . Across the 20 reviews, many test-takers described long and tricky problems in math and a higher-than-usual count of difficult physics questions.

Reviewers gave tentative score estimates after the on-screen display. Reported ranges were 60–80 marks and, in another set of responses, 62–84 marks. Individual displays included Kesav at 64 and Yamini at 72 .

Officials from TGCHE will apply the normalization process to final scores, so these tentative numbers may change. Students who prepared for JEE Main reported the paper felt moderate compared with their expectations.

Students said the May 10 Shift 1 paper was slightly easier than the May 9 Shift 2 session. Several test-takers also reported nervousness about the next day’s exam on 11 May 2026 .

TG EAMCET 2026 May 10 Shift 1 Student Reviews — Subjectwise Takeaways

Mathematics: Students reported between 19–25 tough questions. Specific topics recalled include adjoint and inverse of a matrix, permutations with constraints, hyperbolic functions and reciprocal equations. Many described questions as lengthy and tricky.

Physics: Around 12–13 hard questions out of 40 were mentioned. Recalled topics include electromagnetic force, time of maximum height, uniform circular motion and problems on motion of a car on a level road.

Chemistry: Several students called Chemistry comparatively easier. Recalled topics were p‑block elements, shapes of simple covalent molecules, liquid state, redox reactions in titrimetry and standard enthalpy of combustion.

    Memory-based topics (student recalls)

    Subject Topics recalled
Mathematics Adjoint & inverse of a matrix; quadratic inequalities; reciprocal equations; permutations with constraints; hyperbolic functions; multiplication theorem & Bayes; concurrent lines
Physics Electromagnetic force; deducing relations among quantities; time of max height; uniform circular motion; motion of a car
Chemistry p‑block elements; shapes of covalent molecules; liquid state; titrimetry redox; standard enthalpy of combustion

Twelve responses submitted via a Google form also labelled the paper "Tough," with those students’ tentative displays ranging 62–84 marks. Two examinees explicitly said this shift felt tougher than last year.

These are memory-based reviews from test centres and subject to change once TGCHE releases official keys and applies normalization. Exact answer keys, normalization formula and official cutoffs are yet to be published by the authority.
