The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting CUET UG 2026 from 11 May 2026 to 31 May 2026 in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, with over 15 lakh candidates registered across centres in India and abroad.

CUET UG 2026 documents required are clearly listed by NTA and must be carried to the exam centre to avoid disqualification. Candidates should reach the centre at least two hours before their scheduled slot for verification and security checks.

CUET UG 2026 documents required: What to carry

Bring the following mandatory items to the exam centre as per NTA instructions:

    • Printed CUET UG 2026 admit card.
    • Self-declaration form attached to the admit card (filled and signed).
    • Two passport-size photographs — the same images uploaded with your application.
    • Original valid government photo ID proof (the same document you uploaded during application).
    • PwD/PwBD certificate if applicable.
    • Only permitted diabetic eatables (sugar tablets, fruits) if medically required.

NTA emphasises that the photo ID presented at the centre must match the one uploaded with the application. Religious attire is allowed, but you must report early for additional security checks.

CUET UG 2026 documents required: Items you must not bring

NTA has issued a strict banned-items list to prevent unfair means and disruptions. Do not carry:

    • Mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth devices, earphones or microphones.
    • Calculators, written notes, unauthorized papers or any electronic gadgets.
    • Wallets, handbags and metallic items that could trigger extra checks.

Carrying prohibited items can lead to immediate cancellation of candidature and disciplinary action by the exam authority.

Arrive early, wear simple non-metallic clothing, and avoid heavy jewellery to speed up frisking. If you wear customary or religious garments, allow extra time for thorough but respectful checks.

Candidates appearing across 37 subjects should follow invigilator instructions at the centre. NTA has reiterated that late arrivals may not be allowed entry and that all exams will run in CBT mode during the 11–31 May 2026 window.

For anyone relying on PwD provisions or carrying medical eatables, carry the original supporting certificate and be prepared for verification at the centre. Follow NTA guidance exactly to prevent last-minute problems on exam day.
