    The HBSE declared the HBSE Class 12 result 2026 on May 12, 2026 on the official website bseh.org.in. Students can download their HBSE 12th scores using their roll number and other required credentials.

    HBSE Class 12 result 2026: key numbers

    Around 2,95,478 candidates enrolled for the Senior Secondary examinations held from February 25 to April 1, 2026 in a single shift from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm . Of the 2,42,856 regular students who appeared, 2,05,618 passed and 10,498 were declared unsuccessful.

    The overall regular senior secondary pass percentage stood at 84.67% . Self-study candidates recorded a pass percentage of 69.57% .

    HBSE Class 12 result 2026: gender and school-type breakdown

    Girls outperformed boys: 1,19,893 girls appeared and 1,05,467 passed, giving a girls' pass rate of 87.97% . Boys had 1,22,963 appearances with 1,00,151 qualifiers, a pass rate of 81.45% . The gender performance gap is 6.52 percentage points .

    Private schools posted a higher pass percentage at 87.94% , while government schools recorded 82.44% . Rural students marginally outperformed urban counterparts — 84.98% versus 83.91% .

    District and other highlights

    Charkhi Dadri emerged as the best-performing district in overall results, while Nuh recorded the lowest pass percentage. Stream-wise and subject-wise detailed figures, topper lists and reservation category breakdowns have not been published in the summary released by the board.

    Students unhappy with marks may apply for re-checking or re-evaluation online within 20 days of the result announcement. The re-evaluation requires payment of the prescribed fee as per board notification; the exact amount will be listed on the board portal.
