NTA has opened the CUET UG 2026 scribe registration portal for Person with Disability (PwD) and Person with Benchmark Disability (PwBD) candidates on cuet.nta.nic.in. The Computer Based Test (CBT) exam window runs from May 11 to May 31, 2026 .
CUET UG 2026 scribe registration: who this is for
Only PwD and PwBD candidates who need a scribe for CUET (UG) 2026 should use the portal. The official notice is titled "Seeking Scribe details for availing the facility of Scribe by PwD/ PwBD candidates in CUET (UG)- 2026-regarding."
Exam centres are located across India and abroad, and the scribe facility applies to the CBT CUET UG 2026 sessions at those centres.
How to complete CUET UG 2026 scribe registration
The scribe registration window opens on April 30, 2026 and closes on May 5, 2026 at 11:50 PM . To register:
- Visit cuet.nta.nic.in and log in with your CUET application number and password.
- Click the 'Register Scribe Details' button on your candidate home page.
- Choose the scribe option and enter the required scribe details.
After submission, the scribe details will appear in the 'View Application Form' section and on the confirmation page. The official portal also provides a direct link to the scribe registration page on the site.
What you need to know right now
The registration window spans April 30 to May 5, 2026 (six days) and the main exam window lasts May 11–31, 2026 (21 days). You must have your application number and password ready before starting the form.
If details are submitted, check 'View Application Form' to confirm they have been recorded. Keep a copy or screenshot of the confirmation page for your records.
