Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 96.26% , while boys recorded 94.07% . Compared with 2025 (pass percentage 92.78% ), the state shows a year-on-year improvement.
A total of 5,731 schools recorded a 100% pass rate. At the other end, six private schools reported a 0% pass rate. Students must collect original marksheets from their respective schools as directed by the board.

Mulugu district emerged as the top-performing district in 2026. Hyderabad recorded the lowest district pass percentage at 89.23% .
By management type, Social Welfare Residential Schools led with 99.1% , BC Welfare schools had 98.99% , and Telangana Residential schools posted 98.64% .
Subject-wise and exam rules students should note
Subject pass rates remained high across the board. Second Language topped at 99.97% , Social Studies 99.61% , Telugu 99.12% , Third Language 98.98% , General Science 98.41% , and Mathematics 97.46% .
The board’s notice specified Part B (objective section) timing rules: for most subjects objective questions had to be answered in the last 30 minutes , while Physical and Biological Science and Part A of English allowed only the final 15 minutes for their objective sections.

The TS SSC exams were held from March 14, 2026 to April 16, 2026 across languages, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies. The board has not published individual topper names or subject-wise highest marks in this release.
