CCMT 2026 schedule released on official portal
The CCMT 2026 schedule has been published on ccmt.admissions.nic.in. Online registration, fee payment and choice filling open on May 15, 2026 at 10:00 AM IST and Round 1 seat allotment is set for June 12, 2026 .
CCMT 2026 schedule: Key dates you must note
Registration and fee payment window closes on June 5, 2026 at 5:30 PM IST . Choice filling and locking deadline is June 8, 2026 at 5:30 PM IST ; any choices not locked by then will be auto‑locked by the system.
The Regular Rounds include three seat allotment rounds with these deadlines: Round 1 allotment on June 12 (document verification by June 17, 2026 5:30 PM IST ), Round 2 allotment on June 22 (verification by June 24, 2026 5:30 PM IST ), and Round 3 allotment on June 27 (verification by July 1, 2026 12:30 PM IST ).
A partial admission fee payment window runs from July 2–6, 2026 to confirm allotted seats after Regular Rounds.
CCMT 2026 schedule: Special Rounds and National Spot Round (NSR)
Vacant seats for Special Rounds will be published on July 13, 2026 . Special Rounds registration runs July 14–18, 2026 with choice filling by July 20 . Special Round 1 allotment is on July 22 and Special Round 2 on July 27 .
The National Spot Round (NSR) begins with vacant seats published on August 1, 2026 . NSR registration and choice filling close on August 4, 2026 ; NSR seat allotment is on August 5 and document verification must be completed by August 8, 2026 5:30 PM IST . Physical reporting for NSR runs August 5–11, 2026 .
Who can apply and what you must upload
CCMT 2026 is for M.Tech, M.Arch and M.Plan candidates seeking seats in NITs, IIEST Shibpur, participating IIITs and other CFTIs. You need a valid GATE score from 2024, 2025 or 2026 . Registration is entirely online at ccmt.admissions.nic.in and requires uploading your GATE scorecard, academic certificates and category details.
During online document verification you will specify Freeze, Float or Slide options: Freeze stops further rounds, Float allows upgrading in later rounds, Slide permits moving to a better branch within the same institute.
Physical reporting and balance fee deposit must be completed at the finally allotted institute after NSR. For fee amounts, detailed document lists and seat matrices, check announcements on the official CCMT portal.
