Eligibility and document requirements
UG applicants must have passed 12th from a recognized board with required subjects (PCM/PCB for science programmes). The UG minimum age is 21 years as on July 1, 2026; SC/ST candidates have relaxation to 24 years .
For PG, a bachelors degree with at least 50% is needed, with relaxation to 45% for SC/ST candidates. Some programmes have subject-specific prerequisites (for example, M.Sc. Physics needs B.Sc. Physics with allied Mathematics).
