MET 2026 Phase 2 slot booking: how to login and book
Log in to OTBS with your MAHE application number and OTBS password. The initial OTBS password is your date of birth in DDMMYYYY format. MAHE requires candidates to change this password after the first login as per the password guidelines.
Slot selection is strictly first-come-first-serve and becomes final once you submit. Once a slot and centre are confirmed, you cannot change them. Verify your test city preference before booking because centre allotment follows the submitted preferences.
MET 2026 Phase 2 slot booking: important dates and slot rules
Key dates: slot booking starts May 9 , booking ends May 11 (11:50 PM) , admit card release May 20 , and Phase 2 exam dates May 23-24, 2026 . Admit cards will be available on the OTBS portal; download and carry the admit card with one valid photo ID to the exam centre.
There are two exam slots: Slot 1 — 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM (reporting at 8:00 AM , main gate closes at 9:00 AM ) and Slot 2 — 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM (reporting at 1:00 PM , main gate closes at 2:30 PM ). The MET Phase 2 CBT lasts 120 minutes .
Exam pattern, marking and centre details
MET Phase 2 has 60 questions totaling 240 marks . Sections: Mathematics (15 MCQs + 5 NAT), Physics (10 MCQs + 5 NAT), Chemistry (10 MCQs + 5 NAT) and English (10 MCQs). MCQs carry +4 marks for correct answers and -1 for wrong answers . NAT questions carry 4 marks and have no negative marking .
MAHE will hold the exam in over 81 cities across India. Slots and centres are allotted on the basis of preferences and availability; if your preferred slot is unavailable, pick the next available option immediately.

Only registered candidates can book slots. Use your MAHE application number and OTBS password, change the initial DOB password after the first login, and submit choices promptly. Keep your admit card and valid photo ID ready for download on May 20 and ensure timely arrival at the reporting times on exam day.
