HPCET 2026 admit card released by HIMTU
The Himachal Pradesh Technical University (HIMTU) released the HPCET 2026 admit card on May 5, 2026 . Candidates must download their hall ticket from the official website and carry it to the exam centre on the test day.
How to download your HPCET 2026 admit card
You can download the HPCET 2026 admit card from himtu.ac.in. On the homepage click the admit card link, enter your application number and date of birth , select the programme you applied for and click ‘find admit card’ to view and print the hall ticket.

- Enter application number and date of birth, then select the programme.
- Download and print the admit card; keep the soft copy for reference.
HPCET 2026 admit card: exam pattern and timings
HPCET 2026 will be held in offline (pen-and-paper) mode on May 10, 2026 . Question papers are multiple-choice and set in English.
- BTech and BPharmacy papers contain 150 questions , carry 600 marks in total and the duration is 3 hours 15 minutes . Questions cover Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology.
- MCA and MBA papers consist of around 100 questions and must be completed in 2 hours . These test verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, reasoning and general awareness.
What the admit card shows and what to carry
The admit card displays your name, roll number, photograph, signature, exam date, time, and the exam centre address, and the programme you applied for. You must carry the printed admit card and a valid photo ID to the exam centre. HIMTU also requires the hall ticket at counselling.
Day-of-exam reminders
Arrive at the exam centre well before the reporting time printed on your admit card. Check that your name, photograph and roll number on the hall ticket match your ID. If you find any discrepancy, notify the university through official channels listed on the HIMTU website.
