The response sheet is expected live between 10 May and 15 May 2026 . Use your Application Number and Date of Birth (or registration password) plus the on-screen security pin to log in under the "Candidate Login" section.

After login, select the correct booklet code — NEET 2026 had four booklet codes: 11, 12, 13, 14 . Download and save the OMR PDF; verify personal details and booklet code before calculating scores.

NEET UG 2026 Response Sheet: what to check and how to challenge

Compare the OMR responses with the provisional answer key and calculate your raw score using the official scheme: +4 for each correct answer and −1 for each incorrect answer. The exam had 180 questions for a maximum of 720 marks.

If you find discrepancies, NTA will open an online objection window — typically 3–4 days long. Challenges require uploading supporting evidence (PDF) and paying an objection fee of ₹200 per question . The fee is non-refundable unless NTA accepts the challenge.

Exam scale and timeline students should note

Around 22.79 lakh candidates registered for NEET UG 2026. The paper was conducted in pen-and-paper mode from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM at 5,432 centres across 552 Indian cities and 14 abroad, offered in 13 languages .

NTA's final answer key and results are expected in the 2nd–3rd week of June 2026 . Final scores and the declared key will determine ranks and the subsequent counselling schedule.
