KEA opens UGCET facility for NEET 2026 applicants to upload details early

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has opened a facility on cetonline.karnataka.gov.in for UGCET-registered candidates to submit their NEET 2026 application details before results are announced. Candidates can upload their NEET roll number , application number and admit card details now to avoid delays during counselling.

KEA posted the announcement on X, saying: “Waiting for the NEET result and then starting the registration process used to be a hassle. Therefore, this time, the information of the candidates is being collected before the NEET result so that there is no room for last-minute confusion.”

How to submit NEET 2026 details on the UGCET portal

Registered UGCET candidates should visit cetonline.karnataka.gov.in and use the UGCET registration facility to enter their NEET details. The portal accepts the NEET roll number, NEET application number and admit card particulars that the National Testing Agency issued at exam time.

Only candidates who qualify NEET 2026 will be allowed to fill medical and allied health choice preferences during UGCET counselling. Uploading details early does not grant eligibility — it only prepares your record for the choice-entry stage.

Why KEA opened the UGCET facility ahead of results for NEET 2026

KEA said the early collection aims to minimise last-minute technical problems and delays during the counselling window. This step is intended to reduce system load and allow faster verification once NEET results are out.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted NEET UG 2026 on May 3, 2026 , with over 22.79 lakh candidates appearing. NTA has issued provisional NEET 2026 answer keys; the response sheets and the challenge facility have not been released yet.

KEA runs the Karnataka Undergraduate Common Entrance Test (UGCET) for admissions across engineering, agriculture, veterinary, pharmacy, architecture and medical courses. For medical admissions in Karnataka, the portal collects NEET details now so students who qualify can move straight to choice filling.

What this means for you: upload your NEET roll number, application number and admit card details on the UGCET page on cetonline.karnataka.gov.in if you are already registered for UGCET. Keep your NEET admit card and application reference ready for accurate entry.

Authorities have not published a counselling timeline in this notice; watch official KEA updates on their website and X for the next steps after NEET results.
