Jharkhand B.Ed 2026 Admit Card: what to carry, exam format and OMR rules
Carry the printed admit card (two copies recommended), two recent passport-size photos identical to those uploaded, and an original physical photo ID — Aadhar, Voter ID, PAN, Passport or Driving Licence. The name on your ID must match the admit card exactly.
The exam is Offline (OMR based), duration 2 hours (120 minutes) , with 100 questions for 100 marks . Marking: +1 for correct answers and -0.25 for each wrong answer. The Teaching Aptitude section has 40 questions ; the Language section includes 15 Hindi and 15 English questions.
OMR rules: do not fold the OMR sheet, avoid stray marks, and fill bubbles completely. Use only black or blue ballpoint pen ; gel pens, pencils or white fluid are not permitted. A mistake in roll-number bubbling can lead to machine-reading errors.
PwD applicants who need a scribe must carry the original disability certificate showing 40% or more disability and complete the scribe paperwork at the centre. The admit card will include a self-declaration area that must be signed inside the exam hall in the presence of the invigilator — do not sign it beforehand.
Exam centres confirmed: Ranchi, Dhanbad, Jamshedpur, Bokaro, Dumka, Palamu, Hazaribagh and Chaibasa. If your centre is far, plan to reach by May 9, 2026 to avoid travel-day issues.
