    TN +2 Results 2026: DGE Tamil Nadu to release HSC Class 12 scores on May 8, 2026

    The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) Tamil Nadu will publish the TN +2 Results 2026 on May 8, 2026 , after state election counting concluded on May 4, 2026 . More than over eight lakh students who sat the HSC Class 12 exams will be able to view provisional scores on the official portal tnresults.nic.in .

    How to check TN +2 Results 2026

    • Visit tnresults.nic.in and look for the HSE Class 12 result link.
    • Enter the unique registration number printed on your hall ticket and your exact date of birth in day-month-year format.
    • Click Get Marks to view the provisional marksheet and print the digital copy for college applications.

    Students without their registration number should contact their school immediately; the provisional digital marksheet is accepted for initial higher-education applications.

    TN +2 Results 2026: What students must note for admissions

    The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) will open TNEA 2026 registration in the third week of May 2026 . TNEA is the single-window counselling system for Anna University–affiliated engineering colleges and covers 400+ government, aided and self-financing institutions.

    Engineering admission through TNEA does not require an entrance exam. Seat allocation is based on normalized marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). The minimum pass threshold for each subject is 35% .
